• Lucid Diagnostic System LDS is used for Lucid series vehicle service, fault diagnostics, fault scanning, DTC read and clear, component action test, Matching, calibration and testing, coding, ECU flash programming, software upgrade. This is Lucid Motors dedicated vehicles diagnostic tool. It is intended for use by Lucid Motors after-sales service technicians and engineers.
• Supported Vehicle Models: Lucid Air Series and Gravity Series, and future new models. Covers all Lucid Vehicles models.

Lucid LDS Diagnostic System Function Introduction:
1. Full Vehicle ECU Scan & Basic Diagnosis
• Scan all vehicle domain controllers and identify online/offline modules (Gateway, BMS, Motor Controller, Thermal Management, DreamDrive Domain Controller, Body, Cabin, Airbag, Charging System).
• Read DTCs, fault priority, freeze frame, mileage/time of fault occurrence and fault trigger conditions.
• Clear DTCs (For safety-related faults and high-voltage faults, hardware repair plus dedicated reset procedures are required before clearing; one-click direct clearing is unavailable).
• Collect, record and replay live data streams: cell voltage, temperature, high-voltage bus voltage, insulation resistance, motor speed/temperature and raw data of various sensors.
• Export diagnostic reports and upload logs to the Lucid backend work order system.
2. 900V High-Voltage Battery System Diagnosis
• In-depth BMS reading: individual cell voltage, cell temperature difference, SOC, SOH and battery health assessment.
• High-voltage insulation test, high-voltage circuit status detection and contactor status monitoring.
• Battery balance test and battery pack fault localization (module/cell level).
• Activate high-voltage service mode and perform authorized high-voltage power down/power up procedures.
• Battery pack matching, VIN binding and battery configuration programming after battery replacement.
3. Three-Electric & Powertrain Diagnosis
• Diagnose front/rear motor controllers and inverters; read temperature/torque data streams.
• Fault diagnosis and actuator test for thermal management system (cooling circuit, heat pump, valves).
• Diagnosis and actuator test for OBC on-board charger, DC-DC converter and high-voltage distribution box.
• Powertrain domain ECU firmware flashing, online programming and calibration after controller replacement.
4. DreamDrive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)
• Fault diagnosis for LiDAR, front camera, surround-view cameras, millimeter-wave radars and ultrasonic sensors.
• ADAS static calibration: full calibration after replacement of windshield, radar, LiDAR, suspension or bumper.
• Sensor matching, distortion correction and domain controller sensor fusion calibration writing.
5. Body, Cabin & Safety Systems
• Diagnosis and actuator test for body controller, doors, windows, seats, lights, cabin central control and instrument cluster.
• Read SRS airbag faults, reset airbag module and clear crash data (post-collision).
• 12V low-voltage system monitoring, quiescent current test and gateway wake/sleep control.
6. Module Programming, Configuration & Service Enablement
• ECU / domain controller firmware flashing (offline flashing, different from vehicle OTA).
• For new replacement modules: online security access, VIN binding and vehicle configuration coding.
• Adaptive learning, zero-point reset and service enablement procedures after component replacement.
• Module configuration backup / restoration.
7. Service Document & Work Order Integration
• Built-in factory service manuals and wiring diagrams; automatically match vehicle-specific documents by VIN input.
• Generate service work orders, upload fault reports to Lucid backend and access factory technical support.
8. Cloud Remote Diagnosis Integration
• LDS local diagnosis communicates with Lucid cloud; backend can issue diagnostic tasks and retrieve vehicle remote logs.
