This is GAC dedicated vehicles diagnostic tool. It is intended for use by GAC after-sales service technicians and engineers.

GAC GIDS Diagnostic Tool Feature Overview:
I. Vehicle Identification & Full Vehicle Scan
• Automatic VIN recognition; automatically matches vehicle model, model year, and ECU version.
• One-click scan of all vehicle ECUs; view CAN/CANFD/DOIP bus network topology
• Identifies disconnected modules and bus communication faults; lists all electronic control units (engine ECU, TCU transmission, DHT hybrid, BMS, IP domain, intelligent driving domain, BCM, EPB, etc.).
II. DTC Diagnosis
Reads current fault codes, historical/intermittent fault codes, along with OEM fault descriptions and repair guidelines.
• Clear fault codes (supports clearing by individual module or clearing all codes on the entire vehicle at once).
• Fault code freeze frames: snapshots of the vehicle’s status parameters at the exact moment a fault occurred.
• Save, export, and print fault repair reports from the fault log.
III. Real-Time Data Stream (Recording + Road Test Playback)
• Record and save data streams; play back road test data to capture intermittent faults.
• Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles: Engine RPM, fuel injection, ignition, intake, oxygen sensors, coolant temperature, oil pressure, etc.

V. ECU Module Information Retrieval
Read part numbers, hardware versions, software versions, and serial numbers for each electronic control module to determine whether a firmware update is required.
VI. Online Programming, Coding, and Calibration (Internet connection and service provider account required; this feature is not available in the offline version).
