1. Fault Reading / Clearing / Fault Code Analysis
• Reads three types of fault codes: generic OBD fault codes, SERES ‘Three-Electric’ system-specific fault codes, and Huawei ADS Intelligent Driving + HarmonyOS Cockpit-specific fault codes.
• Displays fault severity, freeze frames, operating conditions at the time of occurrence, and guided repair solutions.
• Clears DTC fault codes, historical faults and intermittent fault records.
2. Real-time Data Stream Monitoring Across the Entire Vehicle
Covers all vehicle domain controllers:
• Powertrain: BMS battery pack (cell voltage, temperature, insulation resistance, SOH), MCU motor controller, OBC charger, DC-DC converter, high-voltage circuit status, pre-charge status.
• Range-extended models: range extender, generator, fuel system and cooling system data streams.
• Intelligent chassis: air suspension (vehicle height, pressure), braking (ESP), steering and TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system).
• Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADS): LiDAR, cameras, millimetre-wave radar and MDC domain controller perception data.
• HarmonyOS Cockpit: In-car infotainment system, instrument cluster, AR-HUD, doors, seats, air conditioning, digital key, etc.
• Supports recording of data streams for reproducing sporadic faults.
3. Active Testing / Operational Testing (Actuator Control)
Commands can be issued directly to control component operations:
• High-voltage power-on/off control, contactor testing.
• Cooling water pump, electric fan and brake pump testing.

• Headlights, windscreen wipers, door locks, electric door latches and air conditioning damper testing.

4. ECU Programming, Flashing and OTA Software Updates
• Firmware updates, software version comparison and upgrades for various domain controllers.
• Coding, VIN writing and configuration matching following controller replacement.
• Software bug fixes, version downgrades and upgrades (authorisation process).
• Unlike in-vehicle OTA updates, the specialised diagnostic system supports low-level programming following hardware replacement.
5. Calibration and Matching (mandatory after repairs)
• ADS (Advanced Driving Systems) sensor calibration: LiDAR, camera and millimetre-wave radar calibration; mandatory following accident repairs or removal/reinstallation of the windscreen or rear radar; millimetre-level calibration via EasyCar.
• Air suspension calibration: body height zero-point calibration.
• Steering angle sensor calibration and ESP zero-point calibration.
• BMS calibration and battery balancing following battery pack or module replacement.
• Key pairing and digital key registration.
6. Vehicle Health Report (VHR)
One-click full-vehicle scan to generate a vehicle health report, identifying latent issues, ageing data and historical faults. Used for pre-inspections and maintenance checks, it also serves as the foundational module for cloud-based IDS remote diagnostics.
7. Special Maintenance Modes
• High-voltage safety maintenance mode (de-energises the high-voltage system and locks the high-voltage circuit).
• Air suspension lift maintenance mode (lifts the vehicle and locks the suspension to prevent damage to the air reservoirs).
• Activation/deactivation of towing mode, windscreen wiper maintenance mode and transport mode.
• Air Tightness Test: Non-destructive air pressure testing of motor housings and high-voltage components to identify potential seal leaks.
8. Cloud-Based Remote Diagnostics (Online Diagnostics)
Based on the Seres Magic Cube platform: cloud-based vehicle monitoring, remote fault reading, data stream viewing and preliminary diagnostics. Engineers can remotely pinpoint faults; some issues do not require a visit to the workshop. The system proactively alerts to potential hazards, enabling predictive maintenance and generating vehicle health reports.
