• GAC AION Diagnostic System GNEDS is used for GAC Passenger Vehicle series vehicle service, fault diagnostics, fault scanning, DTC read and clear, component action test, Matching, calibration and testing, coding, ECU flash programming, software upgrade. This is GAC dedicated vehicles diagnostic tool. It is intended for use by GAC AION after-sales service technicians and engineers.

• GNEDS (GACNE Aftersales Diagnostic System) = GAC Aion’s original factory after-sales diagnostic system, available in an offline version (basic diagnostics) and an online authorized version (including programming and calibration), covering the entire AION lineup and the entire Haobo Hyper lineup.

GAC AION Diagnostic Tool Feature Overview:
I. Vehicle Identification & Full Vehicle Scan
• Automatic VIN recognition, with automatic matching of vehicle model, model year and ECU version
• One-click full vehicle ECU scan, automatically listing all electronic control modules on the vehicle (including VCU, BMS, MCU, WCBS, BCS, IBCM, PEPS, ADiGO intelligent driving and dozens of other control units)
• Identifies CAN/LIN/DOIP communication faults, quickly pinpointing bus paralysis and module disconnection faults
II. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)
• Reads **current fault codes, historical and intermittent fault codes, accompanied by manufacturer-provided fault descriptions and repair guidelines
• Clears fault codes (supports clearing by individual module or a one-off clear of all codes across the vehicle)
• Fault code freeze frames: Snapshots of the vehicle’s overall status, temperature, voltage and speed at the moment the fault occurred, used to reproduce intermittent faults
• Save, export and print fault logs and repair reports
III. Real-time Data Stream (The most important new energy vehicle diagnostic function)
• BMS (Battery Management System)**: Total voltage, total current, SOH/SOC, **voltage of all individual battery cells, cell temperature, voltage differential, insulation resistance, high-voltage interlock status
• VCU (Vehicle Control Unit)**: Vehicle READY status, pedal signals, vehicle speed, high-voltage power on/off status, reasons for power limitation
• MCU (Motor Controller)**: Motor speed, stator temperature, rotor temperature, three-phase current, torque, fault limitations
• WCBS/BCS (Wire-Controlled Braking)**: Master cylinder pressure, pedal travel, ESP, EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) data stream
• All real-time parameters for air conditioning, DC-DC converter, OBC (On-Board Charger), body control unit, gateway, and intelligent driving domain controller, etc.
• **Recording and saving** of data streams, road test playback, and capture of intermittent faults
IV. Functional Testing (Active Drive Testing, Actuator Testing)
Electronic control components can be actively driven to operate individually; this is also supported in the offline version
• High-voltage circuit: Pre-charge relay, main positive/negative relay control testing
• Cooling system: Water pump, electric fan, battery heater, compressor start/stop testing
• Braking system: EPB electronic parking brake release/engagement, vacuum pump operation tests
• Body electrical systems: lights, windscreen wipers, door locks, horn, wing mirrors, seat motors, etc.
V. ECU Information Retrieval
• Retrieves part numbers, software versions, hardware versions, serial numbers and calibration versions from each ECU to determine whether a software update is required.
VI. Online Programming, Coding and Calibration Matching [Internet connection and service provider account required; this function is not available in the offline version]
• Online ECU flashing / software updates (VCU, BMS, MCU, WCBS, domain controller OTA low-level flashing)
• ECU coding and configuration writing (matching vehicle configuration after ECU replacement)
