• The SCANTOOL system (including SCANTOOL-II) is the factory-level diagnostic tool specifically designed for LUXGEN vehicles. It serves as the core diagnostic instrument used by dealership technicians to read data from the engine, transmission, and airbags, as well as to perform various module calibration tasks when servicing LUXGEN models (such as the S5, U6, U7, M7, V7, URX, etc.).

LUXGEN SCANTOOL‑II Diagnostic Tool Feature Overview:
1. In-depth scanning and analysis of all vehicle systems (All-System Diagnostics)
• Cross-module decoding: Comprehensive decoding of all vehicle electronic control modules (e.g. engine, transmission control module (TCM), ABS/ESP, EPB, SRS airbags, body control module (BCM), smart gateway).
• Exclusive Advanced Technology Diagnostics: In-depth reading of communication status for advanced imaging control modules such as Side View+, Eagle View+ and Night Vision+, as well as the central display (Think+ / LuxConnect).
2. ECU Coding, Matching and Programming
• Anti-theft Identity Coding and Pairing: Following the replacement of a new ABS unit, engine control unit or body control module, the vehicle’s VIN is written to the system to correct network packets and unlock the anti-theft system.
• Transponder Key / NFC Card Pairing: Add or reset the identification data for the owner’s remote control key or smart proximity card (e.g. for new models such as the n⁷ and URX).
• Blind Spot/Surround View Calibration: Following bodywork collision repairs or replacement of rear-view mirror lenses, perform dynamic and static calibration of the reference lines for the surround view and blind spot displays.
3. Special Functions & Relearn
• Component Reference Point Learning: Perform idle air flow learning for the electronic throttle (accelerator) following cleaning; and automatic release and reset of the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) motor when replacing brake pads.
• Adaptation Value Reset: Reset the engagement point adaptation values following a gearbox overhaul or oil change; calibrate the centre angle of the SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) after steering gear alignment or replacement.
4. Bi-Directional / Active Test
• Forced Actuation of Components: Bypasses the vehicle’s interior switches to directly issue activation commands to the air conditioning compressor clutch, cooling fans (high/low speed), central locking for all doors, electric windows and the electric tailgate, enabling precise diagnosis of wiring and motor faults.
5. Electric Vehicle Diagnostics (EV System Diagnostics)
• Function Abbreviation: Supports cell-level data monitoring, insulation resistance measurement, charging handshake protocol analysis, and security pairing of anti-theft components following the replacement of high-voltage components for the high-voltage three-electric systems (BMS/MCU/OBC) on the all-electric platform (n⁷).
